The 1993 T-shirt featured Kate's drawing of an R.Crumb character called Mr Natural (a kind of Mystic everyguru who renounces the physical and embraces the spiritual), carrying bagpipes and a cricket bat. The batik tartan pattern took ages, especially as we'd bought such cheap T-shirts that the removal of the wax kept tearing little holes in the material.
In the shot above, two Martins - Windy and Biz - are unaware of the blood, sweat and tears (especially tears) that went into creating the clothes that they're wearing.
