About Artistseye
Artistseye is run by Terri Jones, an artist based in Twyford Berkshire. You can find out more about Terri and her art from her website www.terrijonesart.com
The aims of Artistseye are to:
- Support artists in bringing their work to the public by organising exhibitions and managing the venue and PR for those exhibitions, leaving artists free to do what they do best - create!
- Take the hassle out of finding and displaying local art for venues who would like to support the artistic community, leaving them free to do what they do best - serve their customers!
History of Artistseye
Artistseye was originally set up by Terri Jones as a group of contemporary artists who exhibited together and supported each others artistic development. Members included Terri, along with Katherine Griffiths, Jonathan Newey, Hannah Lee and then later Grahame Parry and Mary Crowder.
The artists went their own merry ways after exhibiting together between 2006 & 2008 and Artistseye became dormant.
In 2009 Terri resurrected Artistseye after a request from a venue to manage exhibtiions of local art for them on an ongoing basis. The aims of Artistseye changed and the exhibitions it organised opened up to local artists who were interested in applying.
